Chiefs sign top pick Eric Fisher

Eric Fisher signed a 4 yr deal worth 22mil all guaranteed. With an option for a fifth year. The only way he won't get all of his money is by being waived and then picked up by another team.

In fact, Mike Florio of Pro Football talk reports that nearly half of that $22 million will be paid within five days, and $14.5 million will have been paid by next year.
So I doubt that he will be waived. Everything that I have heard is that he will be at 100% in training camp as well. The KC CHIEFS just got themselves what I think can be their Joe Thomas (sorry you know that I would mention my Browns)  a nice reliable player for many years baring any catastrophic injuries.

I will be releasing my team by team NFL breakdowns and the KC Chiefs will be one of my most likely to improve teams. New coach that will bring new life to a team with a new QB and I think the players to run his system. Plus it doesn't hurt to always be able to toss it to J. Charles out of the back field and have Fisher with his crazy speed and size blocking up front. Every screen pass is a possibility of a TD it just takes that one block to get to the secondary. Then Charles will do the rest.
