ONE OF THOSE DAYS

Just can't catch a break today I've been split in 5 exactas and once again missed my key horse for the 4th time in a photo today. Id it wasn't for the change of the 4 in race 4 that gave me a $166.60 trifecta for $1 it would be a bad day. Nailed the first race had the horses in the 4th and split in every race other than those two. LIKE I SAID
THOSE DAYS THAT A HORSE PLAYER GOES THRU. DEFINITELY NOT MY FAVORITE PART OF THE JOB, BUT WHEN YOU DO THIS LONG ENOUGH YOU GET USED TO IT BECAUSE IT HAPPENS TO EVERYONE. NO MATTER HOW PAINFUL IT IS MISSING OUT ON AN INCREDIBLE DAY BECAUSE OF BEING SPLIT OR LOSING A PHOTO FOR WHATEVER SPOT YOU NEED A HORSE, THERE'S A HUGE SILVER LINING ON DAYS LIKE MY DAY TODAY. I THINK THERE WAS ONLY ONE RACE I DIDN'T HAVE THE WINNER BET TO WIN OR FINISH IN THE EXACTA.

HERE'S YOUR SILVER LINING:
  Even though I lost some money today when you use 3 or 4 horses in a race and just get split but still have 2 of 3 or 3 of 4 of your choices hitting the board in 2 of 3 spots or with superfecta board having 3 of 4 horses in a great paying ticket destroys most people. Its the same song and dance every time.  How did that rat beat me out?

Because that's why they run the races and we're all dealing with animals also, always keep that in mind.  If a horse doesn't want to go no matter what any jockey does the horse isn't moving. Instead of kicking your own ass and letting the sportsbooks know that there number 1 weapon against the public is working- human psychology. Why can't you look at the day and say you know what the fact that I had 90% of the horses that finished 1st thru 4th but had some bad luck cashing today is something to be proud of. If I said I would give you 3 horses each race and every time 2 of them finished in the top 3 that is a great job handicapping. Now not so good of a job at making money today, but had awful luck. Be proud of yourself and realize in time that you are going to have another day like that. You will also have a day where you hit every race and win all or most of the photos. It's a tough game and the racing season being year round makes it a marathon not a sprint. Appreciate the good parts of your handicapping and more importantly look at the horses that beat you and see if there was something that you missed or just another bomb we all wished we had but couldn't have found with ten pairs of eyes.
DON'T LET YOUR MIND COME INBETWEEN YOU AND YOUR CASH UNDERSTAND THAT SHIT HAPPENS AND IF IT WAS THAT EASY THEY WOULDN'T EVEN RUN THE RACES AND EVERYONE AND THEIR MOTHER WOULD BE PROFESSIONAL HANDICAPPER. NOT THE 1% OF US THAT PLAY THE RACES OR SPORTS ARE ABLE TO HANDLE WHAT COMES WITH BEING TRUE PROFESSIONAL HANDICAPPERS. LOTS OF PEOPLE LIKE TO SAY THEY ARE BUT ASK THEM IF THEY HAVE A JOB?
IF THEY HAVE ANY JOB OTHER THEN JUST BETTING; HATE TO BREAK IT TO YOU YOU'RE NOT A PRO. IF YOU WERE A GOOD ENOUGH HANDICAPPER TO BE A PRO TAKE IT FROM ONE THE LAST THING I WILL EVER DO IS DECIDE TO WAIT TABLES FOR FUN. THEY HAVE OTHER JOBS BC THEY CAN'T SUPPORT THEMSELVES SOLELY ON BETTING. WHICH MAKES THEM A BETTOR NOT A PROFESSIONAL HANDICAPPER. 2 TOTALLY DIFFERENT THINGS I WOULD SAY THAT MAYBE 1 OUT OF 50 PROBABLY MORE LIKE 500 THAT SAY THEY BET FOR A LIVING HAVE ANOTHER JOB. SO BEFORE PAYING ANYONE ASK QUESTIONS AND FIRST MAKE SURE THAT THEY AT LEAST KNOW MORE THEN YOU AND DO YOUR HOME WORK. THIS IS YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY YOU ARE SENDING. SO I RECOMMEND THE FIRST HALF OF THE FOOTBALL SEASON WHY NOT TRY SOMEONE NEW LIKE MYSELF for FREE!
