When betting on preseason football it is important to know what the team's goals are for the preseason games if at all possible. The teams that have new offensive coordinators are going to be learning new offenses. Which means that there will be a learning curve and usually leads to a very simplified version of the offense they want to run, ESPECIALLY EARLY IN THE PRESEASON.
Here are a list of the 13 new offensive coordinators in the NFL this season in alphabetical order by team:
Harold Goodwin, Arizona;
Nathaniel Hackett, Buffalo;
Mike Shula, Carolina;
Aaron Kromer, Chicago;
Norv Turner, Cleveland;
Adam Gase, Denver;
Pep Hamiton, Indianapolis;
Jedd Fisch, Jacksonville;
Doug Pederson, Kansas City;
Marty Mohrninweg, New York Jets;
Greg Olson, Oakland;
Pat Schurmer, Philadelphia and
Ken Whisenhunt, San Diego.
